Largely underwhelmed with the customer service an ease (or lack of) claims...
Pushing prices up on renewal hasn't helped our opinion of MetLife...will be looking to move away next renewal unless things improve.
MetLife is one of the largest regional insurers with the ability to handle large corporates across the GCC region. With their own license in the UAE, they are able to compete with large international and small regional companies.
We have found their customer service to be a little frustrating at times, with long turn around times and being overly process driven. This has resulted in a lot of negative feedback from clients insured on Metlife schemes.
MetLife’s Benefit Plus medical insurance plans are straightforward with a good range of networks and benefits, making them ideal for SME’s in the region. However, due to a recent rate increase, at present they are slightly more expensive than their regional competition.
