AXA aims to provide well-being and comfort to individuals in the UAE by providing protection against high costs that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances. The individual plans are a series of schemes based on geographic cover, and are referred to as the ‘Health Perfect Series’.

AXA’s corporate plans are carefully designed with the goal of ensuring businesses perform to their highest potential with healthy employees.

The corporate plans are referred to as the ‘Health Secure Series’ and provide different benefits based on the geographic area of cover.

AXA also provides a choice of networks - namely crystal, diamond, star, and star plus - which include different hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies in the UAE.

All the details of these networks can be found in our additional resources section below. Alternatively, you can contact us for more detailed information.

Customer reviews
Poor claims process

After a year with AXA Gulf we moved away because of ongoing niggles with claims.

We could not be doing with the hassles and stresses of claims being rejected for employees and then employees having to spend ages trying to sort everything...usually on work time.

We chose AXA originally because of the name, brand and reputation - but they need to improve.

Expert verdict
Expert Assessment of AXA Gulf

As one of the largest SME insurers in the region, AXA Gulf provides highly reliable health insurance products with several variations to fit most individuals’ and businesses’ requirements.

Some of our clients have expressed dissatisfaction with AXA Gulf’s customer service however. We believe that this is because they manage their own network and do not have a third-party administrator to handle claims and submissions on their behalf. Managing this in-house can be challenging.

Additionally, they do not offer an app for claim submissions which puts them at a lesser advantage than several competitors in the region that provide an app.

However, on the plus side, they’ve been in the region for over 47 years and therefore have a stable product. They increase their rates only in accordance to increases in inflation.

Kristian Petersson

“With this sort of service you also expect to be paying very high fees, but it’s just not the case. I would definitely recommend AES.”

Jake van den Dries

“In the short time that I’ve been using AES I’ve made nearly ten thousand pounds and couldn’t be happier!”
