Orient’s head office is in Dubai, and this allows them to serve clients through an extensive branch network, including in Bur Dubai, Deira, Dubai Health Care City, Sheikh Zayed Road, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Mussafah, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah in UAE, Muscat, and Salalah in Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain.

Suitable for our local needs

We were not looking for a global, but a local partner for our company's group insurance.

We looked at many options, and because our requirements are relatively narrow, Orient came in very well from a cost perspective.

As HR Director I am delighted with Orient...I have also received generally pleasing feedback from my colleagues.

Expert Assessment of Orient Insurance

Orient Insurance Dubai is one of the largest regional insurers with a large and well-managed portfolio, and thus are a very reliable choice for people looking for a cost-effective regional plan.

Although their plans offer worldwide coverage (including the US), Orient doesn’t have a network outside the Middle East. Therefore, all treatments outside this region will be covered on a reimbursement basis at 80% of the UAE’s network rates.

They offer flexibility on two extensive networks - NAS or Nextcare, and both offer great mobile apps for claims submission and medical insurance-related enquiries.

Orient do offer great options within individual, SME and Corporate but they have now lost their level of customer service and flexibility and care with assisting brokers and their clients when there are certain escalated requirements.
