Will I work with one adviser or a team?

You'll have a lead adviser as your main point of contact, supported by a wider team of specialists. Wealth clients work with a Financial Life Manager supported by investment, planning and cross-border specialists. Employers work with an Employee Benefits Consultant supported by in-house claims, service and well-being specialists. The relationship stays personal while drawing on wider expertise.

How are AES's advisers or consultants paid, and does it affect their advice?

On the financial life management side, AES is fee-only. Financial Life Managers are paid for advice rather than commission on products, supporting independent advice and the firm's fiduciary standard. For employers, Employee Benefits Consultants focus on building the right long-term workforce strategy rather than transactions. The model is designed to keep the team's interests aligned with the client's.

How do I choose the right person to speak to at AES?

If you're an individual or family looking to manage wealth, retirement, investments or cross-border finances, a Financial Life Manager is the right person to speak to. If you're an employer, HR leader or business owner looking to improve employee benefits and healthcare strategy, an Employee Benefits Consultant is the appropriate contact. Some clients, including business owners, work with both.

Are AES's advisers fiduciaries, and what does that mean for me?

Yes. AES states that it is the only certified fiduciary across Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Its advisers are legally and ethically bound to put clients' interests first. In practice, this means advice based on client goals rather than product sales, transparency on costs, and recommendations that are not influenced by which option pays more.

Is AES hiring, and how do I join the team?

AES is often looking for talented people across advice, client service, investment and employee benefits. Current opportunities and information about working at AES are available on the careers page. AES says it values genuine expertise, integrity and a client-first mindset over a conventional sales background.
