You'll have a lead adviser as your main point of contact, supported by a wider team of specialists behind them.
For wealth clients, your Financial Life Manager acts as your personal CFO - your thought partner, trusted advocate and, in effect, your executive team, drawing on specialists in investment, planning and cross-border matters as your situation requires.
For employers, your Employee Benefits Consultant is supported by in-house claims, service and well-being specialists.
The relationship is personal, but the expertise behind it is deep, so you're never relying on a single person to know everything.
On the financial life management side, AES is fee-only: Financial Life Managers are paid for advice, not by commission on any product, so there's no incentive to recommend one thing over another. This is central to the firm's fiduciary standard, and it's what allows advice to be genuinely independent. For employers, Employee Benefits Consultants focus on building the right long-term strategy for your workforce rather than on transactions.
In both cases, the model is designed so the team's interests stay aligned with yours. You can read more about how AES is paid and how it works on the How We Work page.
It depends on whether you're seeking advice for yourself or for your organisation. If you're an individual or family looking to manage your wealth, retirement, investments or cross-border finances, a Financial Life Manager is the right person to speak to.
If you're an employer, HR leader or business owner looking to build or improve your company's employee benefits and healthcare strategy, an Employee Benefits Consultant is who you need.
Some clients, such as business owners, work with both.
Yes. AES is the only certified fiduciary across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, which means its advisers are legally and ethically bound to act in your best interest, ahead of their own.
In practice, that changes what you can expect from the people you work with: advice built around your goals rather than a product to sell, full transparency on costs, and recommendations that don't shift based on what pays best, because nothing does.
It comes down to a simple promise that has defined AES from the start, you get the same advice the team would give its own family. It sounds like common sense, but in this industry it's genuinely rare.
AES is often looking for talented people who share its commitment to doing financial services differently, across advice, client service, investment and employee benefits.
If you're interested in joining the team, you'll find current opportunities and more about working at AES on the careers page.
AES values genuine expertise, integrity and a client-first mindset over a conventional sales background, reflecting the fiduciary standard the firm is built on.
