Director of Compliance at AES, Dan is a Chartered MCSI and MICA-qualified compliance professional with a career spanning investment operations, risk management and regulatory governance across some of the UK and UAE’s most respected financial services firms. Analytically sharp and strategically minded, he helps ensure AES does what it promises, building the frameworks, processes and culture that support sustainable growth while upholding the standards clients expect. 

Experience

Dan joined AES in 2016 and leads the firm's compliance function, committed to implementing innovative strategies that align with ethical and legal best practices. Before AES, he spent over two years at Attivo Group as Investment Operations Manager, where he worked across risk management and fund administration, and prior to that held senior investment operations roles at Hargreaves Lansdown - one of the UK's largest independent financial services providers - where he was promoted to manage a team of investment administrators. He began his career in financial services at Hargreaves Lansdown as an Investment Administrator, building deep technical foundations across investment operations, regulatory compliance and client services.
