David Labouchere

Overview

Non-Executive Director of AES, David brings a career defined by leadership under pressure, global perspective, and an unrelenting commitment to human performance. A retired British Army Brigadier twice honoured by HM Queen Elizabeth II, a world-ranked Ironman triathlete, and a certified performance coach, he brings to AES the conviction that financial well-being and human flourishing are inseparable.

Experience

David spent 32 years as a British Army officer, serving in major conflicts across the globe - including both Gulf Wars, the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan. He led a battle group in Iraq in 2006, and at the height of his career wrote the leadership doctrine taught across the higher centres of learning for all British Forces. Since retiring from the military, he has channelled three decades of discipline into executive coaching, endurance sport and health advocacy, becoming a certified performance coach, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and a top-10 age-group Ironman triathlete in the world. He joined AES to help clients do what few advisers ever address: align their wealth with a life genuinely worth living.
