Finance Director at AES and a Chartered Management Accountant with over a decade of experience in fast-paced financial services businesses, Sarah turns complex financial data into clear, actionable insight. She is the person who ensures the numbers behind AES tell the right story - optimising financial processes, strengthening governance, and building the reporting frameworks that support better decisions across the firm and ultimately better outcomes for clients.

Experience

Sarah first joined AES in 2012, spending five years in finance before returning in 2020 as Associate Director of Finance and being appointed Finance Director in 2023. In between, she gained valuable commercial experience as a Group Management Accountant in London.
Across her time at AES, Sarah has helped build the financial discipline and operational insight that support consistent, sustainable service for clients. Her responsibilities include group consolidated management accounts, transactional financial accounting, adviser revenue reconciliations and oversight of the firm’s finance function. She holds a BCom Honours in Economics and Accounting from Rhodes University and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant through CIMA. Her approach combines technical rigour with a practical focus on helping AES make sound decisions, invest responsibly and continue delivering long-term value for clients.
