AES International is delighted to announce that Chief Executive Officer, Sam Instone, is a winner of the 2017 Private Asset Management (PAM) Top 40 Under 40 awards.
Described by the Financial Times as “the best guide available to the leading firms in private client fund management,” PAM top 40 under 40 are the Wealth Management profession’s most sought after awards; they are considered an indicator of which firms consistently deliver performance and service to clients.
The awards are also a definitive guide to the rising stars in the private asset management sectors. As a 2017 winner, Sam Instone has been recognised as one of the next generation’s leaders in both the UK and UK offshore markets.
Factors considered by the judges included the reputation and performance of each nominee’s company, feedback from senior PAM executives, and the trajectory of the nominees’ success.
As one of the 2017 Top 40 under 40 PAM winners, Sam was commended for exporting British financial services standards to the international marketplace, and for focusing on knowledge, expertise and quality which is encapsulated in the corporate mission of ‘creating positive change’.
Equally, he was recognised for building AES International into an institutionalised multinational that became one of the fastest growing financial services companies in the UK, the first corporate Chartered Financial Planning organisation outside of the UK, and the largest international fee-based advisory firm.
On learning of the award, Sam said:
“I am lucky the team have got me here and it is great testament to our passion to change the way the world invests through low cost, reliable and professional investment services.”
“I turn 40 in a few months so next year I expect others within the business to take on this mantle. Our young average age means we can truly focus on the long-term, and delivering an array of services fit for the next generation.”
Through this approach to transparency and best practice, Sam led AES International to win the Best Global Adviser Firm 2016 accolade; and the Private Asset Management Top 40 under 40 awards is the 32nd award for AES International in the last 6 years.
