- Free guide explaining offshore bond charging
- Free portfolio “X-ray”
AES International is offering investors a free service providing a UK level of transparency and analysis on offshore investment bonds.
From this week, the FCA regulated pension and investment specialist will provide investors with a no-obligation and no-charge “X-ray” report of their offshore investment bond.
The report will show investors the overall charges they are paying, their asset allocation versus commonly accepted allocations and their investment performance against industry standard benchmarks.
AES International chief executive, Sam Instone, said: “Most people are completely unaware of how much they are paying in charges and therefore why it is that their investments struggle to generate decent returns month after month.
“By providing investors with this free in-depth review of their portfolio and shining a torch into areas that have previously been kept hidden from investors, we hope to enable them to take back control of their investments, reduce charges and generate some actual returns.”
In addition to offering investors the free portfolio “X-ray” report, AES International has produced a guide to offshore investment bonds which clearly explains all the typical charges built into the products and why they so very often struggle to generate returns.
“This free guide provides all the facts about offshore bonds, including why in some cases they can be a good planning tool, but also why they often fail to make money for investors,” Instone added.
