Sam is a champion of Positive Change in the international financial services profession.
He believes this is achieved by exporting UK best practice to the rest of the world so that clients can benefit from increased peace of mind and security, transparency, lower costs, better information and better advice.
An advocate of financial education, Sam helps the organisation focus on its vision of "helping make the world healthy, wealthy and wise." This centres around themes such as evidence based investment, a differentiated approach to international employee benefits, and a passion to inspire and help people live meaningful lives, free from financial worry and complexity.
A graduate of King’s College, University of London, Sam served as a British Army Officer in the Household Cavalry Regiment. His military career covered selection for service with Airborne Forces, operational duty with the Coldstream Guards, and ceremonial duty as a Captain in Her Majesty the Queen’s Life Guard with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in London.
He is a member of The Chartered Institute of Insurance, the Personal Finance Society and The Skinners Livery Company.
