Expert Assessment of AXA Gulf Insurance

AXA are a very well known and established global insurance provider that offer one of the largest varieties of insurance lines.

AXA Gulf, however, seem to be a subsidiary that don’t quite share the same level of expertise and quality service as the global AXA group. AXA Gulf are part of the local insurers market and follow a very bureaucratic and automated system. This is manageable in some cases, but there is often a level of urgency where this becomes an issue.

AXA Gulf do provide a good range of policies, which is helpful when trying to adopt a clients specific requirements. Their plans are very much “off the shelf” products where the only area that can be varied is the out-patient co-insurance. This can cause difficulties in matching the policy to the client's specific requirements, especially compared to other insurers who are much more flexible in their benefits and networks.

They are a very good option for individual policies where the client is looking for a price competitive option and who may not need to use their policy very often.
